There was a massive collision between a DCM and a pickup vehicle on Badaun-Dataganj road at around 5 am on Sunday morning, resulting in the death of two people. Three people were injured. A buffalo also died in the accident. It is being told that in the morning the buffalo of village farmer Chhedalal had freely come on the road. While trying to save him, both the vehicles collided head-on.

Brajesh (18) son of Mahipal and Govind (20) son of Nanhe, residents of village Beladandi of Dataganj Kotwali area, were supporting the family by growing vegetables in their fields. At around 5 am on Sunday morning, both the farmers were loading vegetables in the pickup and taking them to Badaun market. The pickup vehicle was being driven by Jaiprakash, a resident of Mohalla Bada Para of Dataganj. Arpit and Gangadhar of the village were also sitting in it.

The pickup vehicle had reached near Kisrua village in Moosazhag police station area. At the same time, the buffalo of Chhedalal of the village came freely on the road. While trying to save him, DCM caught the buffalo and collided with the small elephant, due to which Brajesh and Govind died, while Jaiprakash, Arpit and Gangadhar got injured. He has been admitted to the district hospital. After the accident, the DCM driver fled from the spot.
